Pregnant Man Delivers

I'm a pretty open minded guy...really.

There's a lot of wisdom in the old adage "Live and let live"... so I do my very best to set a good example for my kids about accepting others, despite any differences they may have. My wife and I stress tolerance and patience...but I still think this is a little weird!

Remember the guy that used to be a woman, but decided he was really a man...but kept his female parts so he could have a baby? He was on Oprah, and told his story to the magazines...



Well, he finally had his/her baby over the 4th of July weekend.



While I'm not grossed out or offended by any of this...I am a bit challenged with explaining this to my two grade school age son's. They're both at the age where they're starting to ask questions...and while I answer them honestly...I limit what I tell them on a strict "need to know" basis because full disclosure on some of the questions would be inappropriate... if you're a parent you know what I mean.

So if you have advice on this one, I'm all ears!
